Seattle will receive a player to be named later and a $211,000 international signing slot. Chicago will receive some cash to offset what is left on Jackson's $7.7 million salary.

Jose Reyes Would Welcome Trade

Aug 26, 2015 1:00 AM

Jose Reyes, who was acquired by the Rockies in the trade that sent Troy Tulowitzki to the Blue Jays, said Saturday that he'd welcome a trade from Colorado. Reyes, 32, is owed $56M through 2017, so the rebuilding Rockies likewise are seeking the same.

"I'm at the point in my career that I want to win," Reyes told the Denver Post. "I say it over and over. I want to win. I don't want to spend the rest of my career on a last-place team. That's not the kind of player I feel like I am."
